During the Live Concert Emma sings Baby Baby on her own. Here are the lyrics:

Baby baby baby baby don't leave me

ooh please don't leave me all by myself

I've got this churning, burning, yearning feeling inside me

ooh deep inside of me

and it hurts so bad

You came into my life, baby baby, so tenderly,

with a burning love that stings like a bee

Now that I surrender, so helplessly,

you now want to leave me, ooh you want to be free.

Baby baby baby baby where did our love go?

Don't you want me? Don't you want me no more?

ooh baby baby

Baby baby baby where did our love go?

Don't you want me? Don't you want me no more?

ooh baby baby baby baby baby where did our love go?

Don't you want me? Don't you want me no more?

ooh baby baby baby

after nearly 3 years of trying, I finally received a signed photo of Emma from the new fan club on January 7th, 1999 so persistance paid off in the end.

It is planned for Emma to appear in a musical version of Sleeping Beauty and I understand that production is due to start in March 1999 - I can think of no one more suited for the role given her obvious beauty and her reputation for being sleepy and grumpy in the mornings.

In July it was reported that the production has not yet started due to problems with the American backers. In the meantime, Emma appeared with Ronan Keating at the Wicked Women concert singing "Don't go breaking my heart". This should be released as a single with all proceeds to the charity.

Emma has been working with Tin Tin Out on a new single called "What I Am" and it's going to be released on 1 November. It's a cover of a tune that was originally a hit for Edie Brickell in 1989. The single went to number 2 but was beaten to the number 1 slot by Geri.

Emma has now bought a £2.5 million penthouse on the site of a former Victorian workhouse at Mount Vernon in Hampstead.

Emma is still with Jade and is still smoking

PLEASE GIVE UP EMMA

22 June 2000 - Baby Spice Emma Bunton was reported to have landed the lead role in a new movie based on the adventures of a gang of girls on a Club 18-30 holiday. The film will be shot on location in Ibiza at the end of August. The fictional comedy is set in and around Ibiza's nightclubbing capital of San Antonio and has been nicknamed "Full Monty On The Beach". The movie is being produced by advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, who came up with Club 18-30's controversial poster campaign which featured slogans like "Beaver Espana" and "Wake up at the crack of Dawn". But as I have seen nothing else, I doubt it.

And in August I received a second signed photo of Emma - thanks baby.

During August, Emma presented SM:TV Live and CD:UK - great TV

Yes! She said this in OK!

"I'll be bringing out a single from the album first in January and then the album will come out." Asked whether she might keep returning to present SM:TV and CD:UK, she said with a laugh: "Who knows? As soon as I finish this, I'll be promoting with the girls. so I'll be too busy again!".

BABY Spice Emma Bunton seems determined to shed her nice-girl image once and for all.

But she's taking her descent into debauchery one step at a time. Not for her a drunken fling with a celebrity or Chris Evans. Oh no. We can exclusively reveal that the extent of Emma's lawlessness is... letting the tax disc on her Mercedes expire.

But there was a snag: Two years later, the headstrong Halliwell lead the Spice Girls to new management once again, and soon after quit the group herself, embarking on a solo career. This was trouble for the remaining Spice Girls. They were sued by an Italian company over Halliwell's split, and Bunton later had to testify that she never thought Halliwell would leave the group.

Meanwhile, the quintet-turned-quartet put out another album (the ominously-named Forever). While the Spice Girls remained together on paper, each pursued a solo career, and Bunton was no exception. First she took a break from music, focusing instead on being a television presenter. Leading up to Y2K festivities, she spoke on behalf of a safe-drinking campaign, warning Londoners about the dangers of lighting fireworks while drunk.

In 2001, Emma Bunton was back with a single, "What Took You So Long?" and a new album, A Girl Like Me. While not a smash hit, it was a personal triumph. Bunton had a hand in writing all the new songs, something she had wanted to do for some time. "I decided to make a solo album a couple of years ago and started writing lyrics a long time before that," she says.

In the meantime, Bunton enjoys reading, taking in a movie or two, and going to the gym. And she still likes to find time for family, going so far as to buy her mother a new house (her parents are now divorced) with her Spice Girls profits. So, despite the monumental ups and downs, Emma Bunton has still come out ahead: That's truly girl power.
